Responsibilities
- Facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines
- Conducts risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation and OHSS standard
- Responsible to increase health and safety awareness at all levels and organize and conducts OSH awareness
- Conducts routine inspection in the work premise and the work of personnel to ensure compliance to OSH mandates and programs
- Submit and maintain appropriate OSH DOLE reports
- Conducts incident investigation and reporting including recommendation of suitable control measures
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources
Requirements
- DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioner
- Must be knowledgeable in dealing with health and safety issues in line with procedures detailed in the DOLE OSH mandate
- With 40-hour Basic Occupation Safety and Health Training
- Experienced in writing reports, policies, and programs
- Proficient in MS office
- Good oral and written communication with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
