Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Conducts preventive maintenance system of the existing mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure system monthly and/or quarterly
  • Conducts Inspection on regular basis of the electrical system, mechanical, and water supply system and its’ equipment and accessories
  • Conducts evaluation of any reported busted bulbs of Emergency lights, cove light, fluorescent, etc. to identify if needs for replacement or can be repaired before requesting for supplier’s intervention
  • Evaluate for the needs of controls of identified electrical-related potential risk and environment aspects
  • Oversees the electrical repair and/or installation such as but not limited to wire splicing, electrical devices and equipment, etc.
  • Oversees the installation and repair of the equipment, furniture and devices
  • Coordinates to building admin for any related electrical and mechanical concerns that need intervention from their end
  • Actively monitors the potential risk of electrical and mechanical failure and provide prompt actions to immediately address the concern
  • Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities and quality controls
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards
  • Close coordination with accounting and HR-admin for the purchase and monitoring of facility-related equipment, materials, and furniture, etc.
  • Close coordination with OSH in work environment related health and safety risks

Requirements

  •  Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
  • Licensed engineer is an advantage but not a requirement
  • At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
  • Must be a well-organized, detailed and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Appreciate working in a live environment
  • Amenable to shifting schedule
  • Willing to work in Ortigas and Cubao
