A good workplace is productive and efficient, but a better one does so with a diverse group of people. In fact, having a wide variety of employees means broader access to various skills, perspectives, and experiences, which can mean even stronger results. People aren’t just productive and efficient in their own right. It’s coupled with creative and innovative ideas leading to much needed improvements that ordinary employees miss.
That’s the big idea, but how do we actually promote this in our employees’ daily work lives? At OBP, we don’t force you to feel seen. It’s all about the employee community, standard practices, and how we treat each person with equal respect.
One thing that can bring people together is shared interests no matter their differences. They often give us a sense of someone’s personality or provide an easy conversation starter. In the workplace, the value of these broader interests are just as important, especially in a large company where it can be challenging to get to know different people.
And so, that’s why we have interest-based communities! Whether you enjoy staying active, getting creative, or playing games, there’s a place for you here—a place where you can be yourself, share your passion, and make new friends. This is a space where community members are able to engage meaningfully through well-facilitated games and activities outside of work on their own terms.

Our workplace accepts different types of individuals. We believe that people should have an equal chance to get employed and excel professionally. We choose you based on the merit of your experiences, work ethics, and compatibility with the team regardless of disability status, parental role, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, pregnancy, or any other aspect of personal background.
To fully support diversity and inclusion, we also keep the same respect towards applicants and newcomers when it comes to our hiring and training practices, as well as employment terms. We abide by the Equal Employment (EEO) Policy and Non-Discriminatory Policy which protects the right of people to equal treatment and opportunity irrespective of their protected characteristics.
Don’t just hear it from us! We asked several employees to share their experiences of how they were treated in the company in light of their individual differences. Here’s what they have to say:
We interviewed one of our PWD employees and he expressed his appreciation for how OBP has treated him with respect and made him feel included as a person with a disability. It has helped him feel confident, empowered, and truly part of the team.
"From management and superiors to my colleagues, everyone has shown their support through thoughtful accommodations such as on-site assistance and genuine understanding."
On the other hand, a newly-endorsed employee highlighted how she felt normal and respected throughout her stay at the company, even going so far as to compare how different it is from her previous employers.
"I'm not comfortable talking about my body, and I appreciate that people here don't really ask specific things about my gender identity. From the very start, people were not intrusive about it."
Meanwhile, a seasoned team leader who was pregnant at the time emphasized how difficult it is to carry a human while coming to work every day. But even going through this life-changing journey, OBP was there to support her.
"OBP ensured that I was comfortable and safe during my time in the workplace. They handled me fairly and without discrimination. I felt protected and secure while in the office."
Lastly, we interviewed a young intern who shared her awe at how approachable, easy-going, and proactive everyone is despite differences in seniority and age. She also commended the problem-solving skills she observed and learned from.
"I feel comfortable because the environment here is open to new generations with fresh insights and ideas. It's a good stepping stone for fresh graduates who want to learn from different experiences."
True diversity and inclusion means being a company that’s open for all—from the moment a person applies, gets hired, trained, deployed, and retained within an environment built by everyone—not just by management or the people/culture team, but also their fellow employees. That’s when you know a company truly values you inside and out.
Sound enticing? There might be a role open for you. We’re always looking out for more talent out there, so seize your chance to explore our careers here at OBP! Check out our job openings and apply today.
