Holiday Cheer at OBP: Christmas Baskets & Hams for Our Teams!

Every holiday season, something magical happens at OBP—the air feels a little lighter, people smile a little more, and conversations shift from deadlines to festive plans. And for many of us, the season officially begins the moment everyone heads home carrying that familiar symbol of Filipino Christmas cheer: the Christmas basket. It’s more than a gift—it’s a reminder that we’re one family.



On December 16, 2025, OBP employees dropped by our Araneta and Gamma sites to pick up their Christmas baskets, with our employee engagement specialists making sure the day felt extra special. The holiday vibe was everywhere—laughter, warm hellos, and a fun buzz of energy as everyone grabbed their gift packs.

“This initiative came together because teams worked closely with each other. We worked with Management on budgets and approvals. We coordinated with Purchasing, Finance, and Accounting to make sure everyone got their baskets and hams. Marketing helped keep everyone informed, and we’re very grateful to Housekeeping and the HR Team for their help during distribution. This effort shows how much teamwork goes into making OBP traditions meaningful, and it proves that events like this happen when everyone works together,” said Cess, one of OBP’s Employee Engagement Specialists.



This yearly tradition isn’t just about the gifts—it’s about celebrating our OBP family and enjoying those last few workdays together before the year ends.

The atmosphere was full of joy as teammates chatted, laughed, and reconnected with people they hadn’t seen in a while. Getting the Christmas basket wasn’t just the highlight of the day—it sparked real moments of connection and happiness. These simple, heartfelt interactions are what keep OBP’s culture vibrant and united.



“The Christmas Basket and Ham Distribution truly lifted our team’s spirits this holiday season, especially as everyday expenses continue to rise. OBP’s generosity helped ease some of the financial pressure and made it easier for everyone to prepare for the holidays. More than the gift itself, it made our team feel genuinely valued and cared for—reminding us that our hard work is seen and appreciated, and fostering a deeper sense of gratitude, warmth, and togetherness as we celebrate with our families,” shared Kim, one of OBP’s team leaders.
