  • Responsible for managing a bookkeeper on a day-to-day basis, as well as preparing monthly closing/reporting packages. 
  • Manage the Accounts Payable cycle (as needed)
  • Prepare daily cash forecasts and manage cash needs 
  • Track loan activity
  • Review monthly borrower billing statements
  • Tax filings:
  • Coordinate with external tax preparers to ensure all tax filings are filed on a timely basis 
  • Reconcile the numbers in tax filings
  • Assist with quarterly debt compliance reports
  • Provide quarterly flux analysis 
  • Assist with SEC compliance related requests
  • Provide thoughts on potential process improvements
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and forecasting


  • Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience in Private Equity/Hedge Funds or Real Estate a plus
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls
  • Experience with entries, general ledger functions, monthly closing, and financial statements
  • Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while adhering to deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and team player attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
