Responsibilities

  • Supervises and oversees the daily operations of the accounting department 
  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. 
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. 
  • Assist preparation and review of financial statements, reports, budgets, forecasts, and other financial analysis 
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and/or CEO on the analysis of financial performance and provide insights into management that support strategic decision-making 
  • Supervises and mentors the team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the accounting department 
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders,including external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial consultants. 
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state and government tax laws, as well as financial regulations and reporting requirements. 
  • Prepares and/or validate and approve transactions in ERP system 
  • Prepares and analyzes financial reports needed on a regular basis 
  • Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the company 
  • Ad hoc tasks 

 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Commerce or similar course 
  • Preferably CPA 
  • With minimum 2 years work experience in the related field is an advantage 
  • Has knowledge and experience using Oracle NetSuite 
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) 
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English 
  • Accurate keyboard skills and keen attention to details 
  • Ability to adapt to change and meet the changing demands of the work environment 
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and tasks when required 
  • Has the ability to lead a team 
  • Self-Motivated, positive attitude and strong work ethic 
  • Must be a team player 
  • Applicants must be willing  to work in Ortigas and Cubao 
  • Can start immediately
