Responsibilities
Responsible for bookkeeping procedures and general administrative/ad hoc tasks
Manage the Accounts Payable cycle:
Process invoices & expense reports
Liaise with vendors
Record entries into Quickbooks
Reconcile all asset and liability accounts
Review monthly borrower billing statements
Assist with tax filings, quarterly debt compliance reports, and ad hoc requests (SEC compliance related requests, renewing CA lender license)
Other ad hoc request to maintain data accuracy/integrity
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
Experience in Private Equity/Hedge Funds or Real Estate a plus
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls
Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while adhering to deadlines
Strong work ethic and team player attitude
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred but not required
