Responsibilities
Client Specific Tasks:
- Responsible for bookkeeping procedures and general administrative/ad hoc tasks
- Record entries into Quickbooks for all funds, reconciling to cash on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Prepare schedules and adjusting entries for prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, loans receivable and loans payable.
- Reconcile assets and income to loan servicer records.
- Accounts Payable Cycle:
- Process invoices & expense repotrs
- Liaise with vendors
- Review monthly borrower billing statements
- Assist with tax filings, quarterly debt compliance reports, and ad hoc requests (SEC compliance-related requests, renewing CA lender license)
- Other ad hoc request to maintain data accuracy/integrity
Requirements
Client Specific Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in Private Equity/Hedge Funds or Real Estate a plus
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls
- Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while adhering to deadlines
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
- Must be amenable to work On Site in Ortigas Pasig or Cubao
- No schedule preference
