Responsibilities
Salary : 35,000 - 40,000
Client Support Work Bookkeeping
Preparation of bank, policy and investment reconciliations, accounts payable cash flow and budgets.
Providing bill-paying instructions to the appropriate practice area for processing on behalf of clients if instructed.
Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts/budgets for the client-related entities including performance analysis.
Preparing information for activity statements and other compliance requirements for various entities.
Preparation of certain aspects of Payroll and data entry (Xero, MYOB).
Effective and appropriate communication with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Actively contribute to the improvement of Mutual Trust services and systems, including data management and financial reporting.
Technical Quality Management
Follow outlined procedures for compliance, review, and finalisation of work.
To action job manager queries.
Maintain technical knowledge. Preparing information for activity statements and other compliance requirements for various entities
Financial Management
Adherence to indicated time budgets.
Informing the job manager where work performed is required outside of the scope outlined in the engagement letter before carrying out any work.
Teamwork
Ensure that the daily deliverables are met.
Actively support team members as required.
Completes other tasks and duties as required.
Actively contribute and participate in team meetings.
Requirements
Technical Requirements
Advanced skills in Xero accounting software essential
Payroll experience desirable but not essential
OTHER SKILL SPECIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of Accounting, Financial Management or similar courses
Minimum of 2 years of experience in any accounting related field
Preferably with at least 6 months of Payroll Processing experience
Strong understanding of the AP/AR process
Experience with EDI System, SAP, and/or Quickbooks is preferred
Experience using CargoWise will be an advantage
Attentive to details, organized, and good at analyzing information
Highly motivated, problem solver, and customer-oriented
Excellent English language communication skills - both verbal and written
Typing speed skills of at least 45 words per minute with 95% and above accuracy
Proficient in Windows environment applications - Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Efficient team member, especially in dynamic situations
Able to work well independently with limited supervision
