Responsibilities
Client Specific tasks
Heavy email traffic
- Organizing and updating the booking with any necessary conditions relevant.
- Solving issues when they arise and getting solutions best for the client
Problem-solving to ship goods most efficiently and as per client requirements
- Cost comparisons between shipping methods, carriers, incoterms
- Potential location changes (origin and destination)
Constant and consistent updating of clients
- When shipments are on time or not
- Keeping client informed at all times
Constant and consistent follow-ups with agents
- When things are good and bad
- Keeping Agent accountable at all times
- Providing informed, clear instructions
Spot Quoting
- When carriers have been changed
- When additional occurrences arise
Document checking
- Bills of Lading
- Airfreight / Seafreight
- Agent invoices are correct against our tariffs
Requirements
- Recent and solid experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping or Logistics is a preference
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in the same role/same industry is required for this position
- Good customer service skills
- Excellent English skills in both written and oral
- Ability to cope with repetitive or continuous support queries
- Solid computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Efficient team member, especially in dynamic situations
- Able to work well independently with limited supervision
- Full-time positions available
- Amenable to report onsite in either Ortigas, Pasig City / Cubao, Quezon City
