Responsibilities

Client Specific Tasks:

Investment Reporting and Reconciliations

  • Perform daily cash transaction analysis to maintain data integrity
  • Perform data entry of investment transactions including off market transfers, term deposits, managed funds and out of custody assets
  • Perform administrative tasks and reconciliations for omnibus currency accounts and bank accounts in client’s own names via banking platforms and BankLink
  • Source data and perform reconciliations to validate correct positions and pricing for out of custody assets held by clients
  • Process periodical portfolio reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy of underlying data for performance reporting
  • Perform client specific reporting for investment reporting clients and model portfolios
  • Assist team with annual compliance tasks including distribution of annual statements and gathering documents for annual audit.

Client Account Management

  • Establish new client accounts on all systems managed by Investment & Cash Operations team
  • Update and maintain systems with client information changes
  • Create logins and maintain access for clients to reporting system
  • Create reporting and performance groups to provide relevant reporting for Advisors and clients
  • Maintain performance, asset allocation and benchmark settings
  • Manage account closure process

Documentation and Teamwork

  • Complete and maintain process and procedure documentation relevant to corporate action income event tasks to ensure team members with limited experience can refer to documentation and perform role
  • Participate in cross training within the team

Compliance and Values

  • Actively execute all activities in an honest, compliant, and trustworthy manner
  • Respect and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality of client information at all times
  • Report any issues relating to compliance and risk management to senior management.

Growth and Clients

  • Accurate data entry of investment transactions and external cash transactions to ensure clients receive accurate reports within agreed timeframe
  • Perform transaction coding and periodic portfolio reconciliations to ensure data integrity in client reporting system
  • Client accounts are established, updates maintained, and closures actioned within one business day of request and all systems and files are updated accurately
  • Proactively complete all other administrative tasks as delegated (via workflow tracker or other means) in an accurate and timely manner and comply with relevant processes and policies

  • Actively participate in the Performance Review process by setting KPIs, and completing a mid & end-year review - where performance gaps are present, a personal development plan is in place and is being actioned

  • Active engagement in identifying and managing risk issues and contributing to overall risk management within team
  • Results of independent audits / reviews performed. Number of repeat audit / review findings (ie findings that have not been addressed)
  • Active engagement with external reviewer to finalise review and address recommendations
  • Time taken between identification of issue or incident and reporting to Risk & Compliance
  • Comply with industry regulatory advice regime (ASIC), new FASEA training requirements and CPD, plus Code of Ethics and all regulatory requirements applicable to your role. Evidenced by:
  • Number of recurring ASIC compliance breaches
  • Completion of all compliance training modules within deadline

 

 

Requirements

  • At least 3-4 years of investment operations experience either at a custodian, fund manager or financial services provider
  • Sound knowledge of investment markets and the various instrument types
  • Understanding of reconciliation processes and investment performance concepts as they relate to the wealth management industry
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and be highly service oriented
  • Positive, self-motivated, honest, compliant, and trustworthy
  • Amenable to work on site in Ortigas Pasig and Cubao
  • Amenable to work in any shift schedule
