Responsibilities
Functional Roles in Network Management:
Develop and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and identify and resolve issues that may impact the availability or performance of the network.
Implement and maintain network security protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.
Manage the configuration and deployment of network devices, including software updates and patches.
Work with vendors and other third-party providers to ensure that network services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Functional Roles in IT:
Oversee the deployment and management of the company's hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices.
Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures that align with the company's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage IT assets and resources to ensure that they are used effectively and efficiently
Provide technical support to end-users and ensure that IT issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure that the company's IT systems can be restored in the event of a disaster.
Functional Roles in Cybersecurity:
Develop and maintain the company's cybersecurity policies and procedures, including access control, incident response, and risk management.
Monitor the company's networks and systems for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address security risks.
Work with other departments to ensure that cybersecurity is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Provide training and awareness programs to ensure that employees are aware of cybersecurity risks and best practices.
Overall, the IT Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company's technology systems are secure, reliable, and effective. They must work closely with other departments to ensure that technology is used in a way that supports OBPI goals and objectives.
Requirements
Graduate of Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineer, Electronics and Communications Engineering of equivalent
At least 2 years’ experience leading an IT team is required for this role
Preferably with industry certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, CISA or equivalent
Relevant experience leading and managing complex IT projects, implementing and maintaining network, infrastructure, and developing and executing data privacy and cybersecurity strategies
Preferably with experience in auditing, monitoring and assessing information systems
Strong communication (writing and speaking), leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Amenable to work in rotating shifts and/or provide on-call services as needed by the company
