Magic in the Making: How OBP Found Wonder in Teamwork

It wasn't just another day—it was a day filled with magic, confidence, and faith. We captured moments as teams posed in their Disney-themed costumes. Framing the shots felt effortless—they knew exactly how to shine. They stepped beyond their usual roles, letting their creativity burst in vivid imagery. As we observed, we could see the incredible stories of their journeys—the paths that brought them here—magical, enchanting, and truly inspiring.

On September 4–5, 2025, OBP employees across the Gamma and Araneta offices brought their stories to life during the quarterly Theme Day, celebrating the magic of Disney. Support leaders and team members joined in the fun, dressing as their favorite Disney characters and showcasing their creativity through unique costumes and props. With every detail—from whimsical decorations to inspired theatrics on cam— teams turned the office into a scene straight out of a fairytale, proving that at OBP, dreams can go far beyond the desk.

Dreams turned into reality for Team Rean, the overall winner for the Gamma office, as their version of magic shone through their proactiveness and collaboration. Their efforts proved that teamwork and creativity are truly a tale as old as time. "Janine and Shea took the lead as organizers, with Janine serving as our creative head. Julie helped sew the costumes. My team has always been competitive in every OBP contest," the team leader shared. For them, the real reward went beyond the prize — these activities gave them the chance to express their creativity, strengthen teamwork, and enjoy the spirit of collaboration that defines OBP.

Open communication proved to be a powerful way for team members to take an active role in the bigger picture. For Team Kimmy, it was all about making sure everyone had a chance to be part of the riddles and the adventure. "It was Jupith, one of our data entry specialists, who came up with the idea of doing Alice in Wonderland. He was the creative mind behind it and encouraged open communication within the team, helping everyone find their roles. We made sure each member had a part," shared Kimmy, their team leader. By delegating tasks strategically and working collaboratively, Team Kimmy turned their vision into reality — ultimately winning the overall award for the Araneta site.

When teamwork steps in, that’s when the magic truly happens. We grew up believing magic is always grand—a pumpkin turning into a carriage, a beanstalk stretching into the clouds, a hidden 'rabbit hole' to another world, or the promise of a true love's kiss. Yet, sometimes, magic is quieter. It hums softly between the hours of our 9-to-5 jobs. Magic doesn't always glitter or roar; sometimes, it hides in the ordinary, waiting for us to notice its gentle spark—in the warmth of their smiles, their laughter in between the takes, and the steady hand of their support leaders guiding them through their poses. It was a sight to behold behind the cameras, and what an honor it was to witness it all unfold.
